so let me fill you in on whats been happening in the troutman household. on the day of my last post, way back in June, that was the day i found out we were no longer moving to Huntington Beach. I think I took it harder that Tom who is the one who lost out on the contract. In the end there was a discrepancy in the salary. The next day I was flying down to check out our house that came with the job. it was an awesome house in a gated subdivision 1/2 mile from Huntington Beach. I was also going to check out our church ward and see what sports program the had for not only the kids, but also adult league sports too. Looking online there were so many different recreations for the city and I was so excited to move. Now I know everything happens for a reason, still don't know why it all didn't work out, the school are better there, yes they really are, the weather is so much better no denying that. And plenty of job opportunities for Tom. He has been here 2 months and no job yet. sigh.
But like I said everything happens for a reason and all of our families are here and we have dinner together on a weekly basis, the grandparents can come to sports games, my dad takes the kids camping a few time every summer, and Toms parents take the kids to their house every weekend on a rotating basis.
A lot has happened this summer, a very fun family vacation, and 3 birthdays, girls camp and I will post about our summer in the coming weeks.
