Not only Do I have a teenager, I have a kindergartner too. 3 kids in school full time, and one home with me. Jacob had a great birthday. We went up to Grandma and grandpa Troutmans house for dinner and cake. Aunt Kristy was there too. Jacob got some dinosaurs, cop toys, fire truck toys, some candy, and a bike with helmet. He was loving life and rode his bike all over the deck till he had a little accident. Jacob took a tumble down about 5 stairs but he was a tough boy and got right back on. Everyday after school he wants to ride. And if I do say so myself he is one good looking son!
He is doing a great job in school. The other day I was thinking that he is very young for for starting school this year, but I put him in another school where his Aunt is the teacher. They had a occupational therapist come in and look at him because he didn't show if he was left or right handed, it turns out he is ambidextrous with a tendency toward his right., but the lady was telling Aunt Kym that he is pretty young for school. Then Kym told her that he was 2 months premature, so if he was full term he would not have made the cut off for kindergarten this year. The OT was really impressed how well Jacob is doing with pencil control. He is already leaps and bounds ahead of both Taryn and Lauren when they were in kindergarten, so I guess I made the right decision, even if I have to drive him to the bus stop 10 min away at 6:50. Suck it up Cherie!
